To replace your foggy windows or broken glass you first need to determine what size window you need. You can do this by measuring the glass in the upper pane or lower pane. This can be done by laying the tape measure flat on the glass.

If you are unsure that your window is fogged, you can call Steve, at Quick Glass and he can explain to you what to look for.

To measure a window for glass replacement, measure the glass itself rather than the entire window frame. Lay the tape measure flat across the glass and measure from the inside edge of the frame or molding to the opposite edge. Measure the width first and then the height, recording each measurement in inches.
You should measure the glass only when requesting a glass replacement quote from Quick Glass. Measure from where the glass meets the frame or molding on one side to the corresponding point on the opposite side. Measuring only the glass provides the measurements needed to estimate the replacement glass.
Yes. If your window has separate upper and lower panes, measure each pane individually because they may have different dimensions. Provide Quick Glass with the width first and the height second for each pane, using inches for all measurements.
For an arched or half-circle window, measure the glass at its widest point for the width and at its tallest point for the height. Measure the glass itself rather than the surrounding frame. These measurements can then be provided to Quick Glass when requesting a quote.
After measuring your window glass, record the width first and the height second, using inches. If you have multiple panes, provide the measurements for each pane separately. You can then contact Quick Glass with your measurements to discuss your glass replacement needs and receive a free estimate.
